Ross started playing guitar when he scored an old nylon string from his older brother in primary school, and has been playing off and on ever since.
Growing up in a musical family Ross was exposed to a kaleidoscope of influences, from The Beatles to Queen, Simon & Garfunkle to Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield to The Blues Brothers, with the stand-out early influence being Mark Knopfler.
Ross’s interest in blues was kindled in the 90s, and he now equally enjoys exploring classic works by Albert King or Howlin’ Wolf, or revelling in the rich blues talent playing in Melbourne such as Geoff Achison and Jimi Hocking.
