Southbound Tram are a contemporary blues band from Melbourne. Initially formed in 2015, the band’s current lineup is Rochelle Haynes on vocals, Ross Daws on guitar and vocals, Matt Ormsby on guitar, Sam Tilders on bass and Colin Trott on drums.

With varied influences ranging from Koko Taylor to Cyndi Boste, from Eric Clapton to Lloyd Spiegel, and from Howling Wolf to Geoff Achison, Southbound Tram are a distinctly Melbournian brew of classic, passionate blues blended with the band’s own light-hearted, larrikin spirit.

Exploring themes of love, loss, and impractical footwear, the band’s original songs reflect their commitment and passion for creating fresh blues music, and make their performance a unique and totally Southbound Tram experience.
